Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment please call us at (270) 885-0895

Bordetella(kennel cough)and Canine Influenza for dogs who board, go to grooming parlors, obedience classes, dog parks; Lyme disease and Lepto for dogs exposed to deer ticks and raccoon droppings. Feline Leukemia for cats in multi-cat households or outside cats. Physical exam, Dental exam, and heartworm test is done with each annual vaccination visit. For a more comprehensive checkup, you may choose to do Fecal exams for parasites, urinalysis for early kidney disease, comprehensive blood profile, ElectroCardioGram and even chest radiographs. Our pets age at a much faster rate than we do, it is always better to catch a problem early. Heartworm preventatives and flea and tick control, Science Diet, Prescription Diet brands, dietary supplements are also available. Dental scalings, Spay and neuter surgeries are done routinely.

Injury and Disease Treatment

Unfortunately, we also have to treat sick and injured pets. We have in-house lab for fecal exams, Blood work, heartworm checks and urinalysis. We work with professional labs for more extensive labwork needs. Radiographs are taken and read by our veterinarians. Surgeries, dental extractions, casts and splints, hospitalization for IV therapies, etc. are mostly done in-house. Particularly difficult cases may be referred to specialists. Most medications needed are also available at our clinic. Prescriptions can be given as needed

Our newest Therapy - Companion Animal Laser Therapy

Since Feb 2015 we have implemented the use of Class IV Laser Therapy for treatment of inflammation and pain in a number of different cases. This provides for relief on acute and chronic conditions such as arthritis. As well as anti-inflammatory and analgesic, it promotes circulation, speeds healing, reduces scar formation, and stimulates the immune system. For more detailed information check out www.litecure.com/companion . We have been pleased with our results and welcome the opportunity to introduce you to it's possibilities.
